Gems of Baroque Chamber Music for Bassoon and Harpsichord 

 

On Wednesday 26th March 2024 from 12.40 to 1.20pm, the Wesley Lunchtime concert series is delighted to present Ben Hoadley (bassoon) and Ariana Odermatt (harpsichord) in a program of works by Marcello, Couperin, Telemann and Devienne. 


Ben Hoadley is principal bassoonist of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, and teaches at the ANU School of Music and Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne. Ben is a regular guest principal bassoonist with groups including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony, Auckland Philharmonia and Malaysian Philarmonic.


Ariana Odermatt holds a Master of Philosophy from the ANU School of Music and BA Honours in Performance Music (Harpsichord) from the University of Waikato. Her achievements overseas include performing at the 2011 Venice Biennale, at Handel's House in London and with NZ Barok.
