On Wednesday 23rd April 2025 from 12.40 to 1.20pm, Wesley Lunchtime Concert series presents accomplished pianist Stuart Long in a wonderful program of memorable movie themes, including from The Piano, Schindler’s List, and Cinema Paradiso, and timeless piano masterpieces by Satie, Einaudi, Piazzola and Glass.
The concert reprises parts of a recent program that subsequently Stuart has generously offered to the Wesley Lunchtime series. The previous program was described by the City News reviewer as a “very enjoyable concert” encompassing “memorable and moving works from films … [and] other timeless masterpieces for solo piano”, which took the audience on “an emotional journey through space and time” (https://citynews.com.au/2025/movie-music-stars-in-piano-concert/).
