About the event

Join The Llewellyn Choir, The Llewellyn Sinfonia and soloists Sarah Mann (soprano), Charles Hudson (Tenor), Michael Wilson (bass), and Anthony Smith (organ) for a special Palm Sunday concert, featuring the Canberra Premiere of Howard Goodall’s Invictus: A Passion, and Telemann’s Cantata Hosianna dem Sohn David. Goodall has described Invictus as a modern interpretation of the Passion story, focused on the perspectives and experiences of women. Telemann’s prolific output forms an important part of the Baroque repertoire, and his Hosianna dem Sohn David complements the theme of Palm Sunday.
